Office and workplace security

In an office break-in the real loss is rarely the hardware — it is the data on it. A stolen laptop leaves with client records, contracts and access credentials. Security fog protects the first link in the data-security chain by denying physical access.

The main risks in this environment

Theft of data-bearing devices

Laptops, servers and backup drives mean losing both hardware and data.

Server and comms rooms

A small room holds the entire digital backbone of the business, reachable from one point.

Documents and safes

Contracts, personnel files and cash safes carry both legal and financial exposure.

The Boldmirglass solution

Office protection is built in two layers: the general workspace, and the critical rooms — server room, finance, management. The compact Sentinel SC20 and S35 mount discreetly into a suspended ceiling or onto a wall without disturbing the interior. The system works alongside existing access control and alarm infrastructure and disarms automatically during working hours.

Frequently asked questions

Does it damage servers and computers?

No. The fog is non-conductive and does not condense, so it is safe around live electronics. Even so, in server-room projects the nozzle is aimed away from equipment fan intakes.

Will it fit the office interior?

Compact models can be recessed into a suspended ceiling or wall-mounted in a matching finish. In most installations a visitor would not notice the unit at all.

Could it discharge during working hours?

No. The system is disarmed whenever the alarm is unset. Installation also defines a keyed isolation and an entry delay, and we account for cleaning staff and after-hours working.
