Vehicle and fleet security

Cargo is most vulnerable when the vehicle is stationary. Delivery stops, rest areas, overnight parking — most incidents happen at exactly those pauses. An in-vehicle fog system closes the gap by putting the load space beyond reach.

The main risks in this environment

Cargo theft during delivery stops

The load space is exposed the moment the driver steps away for a few minutes.

Overnight and rest-area parking

In unsupervised car parks vehicles remain targets for hours at a time.

Cash and high-value cargo

Cash-in-transit and high-value freight attract planned attacks.

The Boldmirglass solution

Defender is a fog system mounted inside the vehicle load space and powered from the vehicle supply. It is triggered by a door sensor, a panic button or the vehicle alarm. Once discharged the load space becomes completely opaque, so the attacker cannot locate or reach the cargo. Across a fleet the same configuration is fitted to every vehicle, which standardises driver training.

Frequently asked questions

Can it discharge while the vehicle is moving?

The system is configured so that driving safety is never compromised. Trigger conditions and isolation logic are agreed during installation, based on how the vehicle is actually used.

Can it be fitted to any vehicle?

It suits panel vans, light trucks and box-body vehicles. We assess load-space volume and the electrical supply before planning the fitment; it is not effective on open-bed vehicles.

Can it be rolled out across our whole fleet at once?

Yes. For fleet projects we group the vehicles and build an installation schedule that does not disrupt operations, with driver training delivered in the same programme.
