Frequently asked questions
Is fog effective in high-bay warehouses?
Only if it is correctly sized. Fog behaves differently in high-bay volumes, so nozzle height, direction and unit count are set from a volume calculation. This is a survey task, not a catalogue choice.
Is it a risk to warehouse staff?
The system only arms when the site is closed and the alarm is set. Even so, we train all staff on evacuation and conduct: the fog is not harmful to breathe, but because vision is lost, calm evacuation rules are taught.
Can it be used in cold storage?
Low temperatures affect performance and require specific assessment. For cold-store projects we measure the temperature range and air circulation before choosing the model and its placement.
